Weighted total
calculated, not assigned
8.3 / 10
It takes the top position on a UK-weighted rubric for two concrete reasons: live video calling that nothing else here matches, and an operator a UK reader can actually complain about to the ICO. Neither is a small thing. But the margin over Nomi and Kindroid is narrow, the company is six months old, and the token meter is the thing most likely to surprise you on your statement. Start weekly, watch your token burn for a fortnight, and only then commit to a longer plan.

8.1 / 10
The best-value serious option on this list, and the one to pick if you care about being remembered. At about £7 a month annually it undercuts everything else here while winning the heaviest-weighted criterion outright. It loses the top spot on multimodal features, not on substance.
