Our verdict
The best-value serious option on this list, and the one to pick if you care about being remembered. At about £7 a month annually it undercuts everything else here while winning the heaviest-weighted criterion outright. It loses the top spot on multimodal features, not on substance.
What works
- Memory is the best here — it brings things up unprompted weeks later
- Annual plan is the cheapest serious option in this review at roughly £7 a month
- Flat pricing with media included, so the bill is predictable
- Group chats with several companions actually work
What does not
- No video calling and no video generation
- Image generation is weaker than Candy AI or FantasyGF
- Free tier is too limited to judge the product properly
- US operator, so UK data rights are harder to enforce

Who this is for
Choose it if you want long-running relationships where continuity matters more than pictures. It scores highest on conversation & memory at 9.2/10, a criterion carrying 25% of the total.
Look elsewhere if safety & age assurance is what matters most to you. That is this app's weakest criterion at 7.0/10, and at the bottom of this scale that means: a tick-box age gate, no crisis handling, or an unresolved regulatory investigation.
